About Senior Dog Daily

We’re Sarah and Leo Bennett, and this site exists because of Lucy.

Lucy is our 7-year-old Border Collie. We adopted her from a rescue about four years ago. Although Border Collies aren’t usually considered senior until 8 or 9, we wanted to start preparing early.

That’s why we began reading.

We read veterinary studies, compare products, and take notes on what works and what doesn’t. Senior Dog Daily is where we share what we learn — so that other senior dog owners don’t have to start from scratch.

We are not veterinarians. We’re two people who love a good dog and want to give her the best possible care.

What you can expect

• Transparent reviews. If a link in an article earns us a commission, it is disclosed at the top of that article. We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage.
